Another illegal casino bust took place this week in a farmhouse in Jaipur. The arrestees include a police officer and a professor. Further crimes were uncovered in the illegal vicinity. Read the full story below.
A farmhouse had been converted into a makeshift casino. The group responsible for organizing the event has been linked to other, similar operations throughout India. The gambling den offered five casino tables and non-consensual sex workers.
When raided by the Rajasthan police’s crime branch, the police seized all casino memorabilia as well as Rs 23 lakh in gambling money. They also seized 14 luxury vehicles that were parked outside the establishment.
On top of that, the police made a total of 84 arrests.

All the gamblers preset were made to pay an entrance fee of Rs 2 lakh. This was according to the arresting officers.

In an interview with India Today TV, the Additional Commissioner of Police, Ajay Pal Lamba shared,
"Organizers have been booked for human trafficking. They had been carrying out these kind of activities in various parts of the country"
The 13 arrested women were suspected of being human trafficked and forced into sex work by the organizers.
